Abstract: The deployment of wireless sensor networks in smart cities for environmental monitoring is a complex issue. One of the main problems is to determine the most appropriate places for these tasks. This paper proposes the use of information from crowdsourcing to identify places of interest from the environmental point of view to deploy the sensor network.
