Abstract: this work presents a methodology for the implementation of a photovoltaic energy system in a micro-grid minimizing possible errors during the process. Our methodology allows the inclusion of clean energies at the university campus using the minimum amount of time. This work illustrates the advantages of implementing a photovoltaic systems in a microgrid, such as electricity bills reduction or reduction of pollutant emissions. The proposed methodology has allowed the inclusion of renewable energy in a satisfactory way, overcoming the challenges that currently arise in a developing country.
